Zaryadie information pavilion

VELKO-2000 LLC works covered full GC scope: the concrete foundation, bearing steel structure, exterior glazing and interior works. The interiors have been reconstructed as per design concept of Russian Pavilion on XIII Architectural Biennale higly estimated by board of jury and won their Special mention Award. The ineractive information pavilion functions as virtually existed gates leading into the Zaradyie park current life and giving visitors a chane to get information about the history of this place, to follow the process of design implemnetation and actual consuction stages as well as to see the future of this immense project. Entering the pavilion visitors are equiped with tablets and instructed how via the tablet's camera to screen QR-codes incorporated into the aluminium preforated wall panels. While screening a visitor gets an access to the web-pages narrating the history of the district, the idea of Zaryadie park creation, it's design concept chosen and further realization of the porject. At the beginning the pavilion was supposed to be erected as temporary structure for the period of constrcution to keep people updated of the project status. However further on, the Chief architect of Moscow, Sergey Kuznetsov, made a suggstion to prolong the pavilion life on permanent basis as interactive informantion point provided data not only with respect to the Park but also about all cultural events and relevant social occasions taking place in Moscow. - Photomaterial owned by: Moscow city Government and Mayor web-resource, Moscow city Urban development and town-planning committee web-resource
